Should you want to venture out from Willowlake, we are situated centrally to
many area attractions.  Summer favorites include the
West Point Sunday
evening concerts on Trophy Point, a day at
Storm King Art Center (open late
spring through late fall), or a day at the new
Dia Museum (just 10 minutes
drive).The
Innisfree Gardens in Millbrook is a quiet place to explore.

If you are traveling from outside the area, we are located an easy train ride to
NYC.  The
Metro North train station is 15 minutes away and in just 75 minutes
you will be at Grand Central Station in the heart of New York City.

Many historic sites are nearby. The
Roosevelt Museum and the Vanderbilt
Mansion in Hyde Park, George Washington's Headquarters in Newburgh, and
the home of
Samuel F Morse in Poughkeepsie.

There is a local children's museum, as well as a moderate size water park just
minutes away.   Markets are quite close as are theaters, and excellent
restaurants. A visit to the
Culinary Institute of America for dinner or lunch is a
memorable experience. Additional regional information can be found at
