Willow Lake features a historic Tudor-style estate in Fishkill, NY, blending architectural history, charm, and modern luxury. Once a 19th-century retreat for New York City’s elite, it was transformed in 1924 by Margaret Sanger and J. Noah Slee into a serene sanctuary overlooking a spring-fed lake and the mountains, offering timeless beauty and comfort. Recently renovated and modernized in 2025, the home features six gorgeously appointed bedrooms, five meticulously renovated bathrooms, chefs kitchen, outdoor terrace kitchen and bar, and more.

The Mansion home offers over 5,000 square feet of beautifully appointed living space, featuring multiple wood-burning fireplaces, five spacious bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and two half baths.
The estate’s formal dining room is flooded with natural light through lead glass windows, making it the perfect setting for memorable meals. The fully equipped chef’s kitchen includes a Viking range, double oven, two dishwashers, and ample tableware—ideal for preparing gourmet meals or hosting catered events. A separate service kitchen adds extra convenience for large gatherings. Multiple living areas invite guests to unwind, including a stunning original library great room, large dining room, breakfast and sitting rooms, and more.

The estate features a picturesque spring-fed lake for kayaking, paddle-boarding, catch-and-release fishing, scenic walking trails, and a charming gazebo overlooking the water. The property’s extensive collection of trees includes Willows, Beech Trees, Eastern White Pine, Hemlock, Sugar Maple, Japanese Maple, Dogwood, and Elm trees. With incredible bird-watching opportunities, this retreat is a haven for wildlife lovers.

The Gatehouse (Hickory + Chestnut)
The Gatehouse blends vintage Hudson Valley charm with modern comforts. Designed as a two-family home, it offers two distinct spaces: Hickory, a rustic three-bedroom, two-story layout on the left, and Chestnut, a spacious two-bedroom, single-story retreat with airy cathedral ceilings on the right. Together, they can accommodate up to 12 guests — perfect for group getaways or family retreats. Enjoy cozy fireplaces, serene lake views, and nearby trails for a truly memorable escape.

Hickory: Three Bedroom Duplex
Hickory offers the timeless charm of a classic Hudson River Valley estate, paired with the convenience of relaxed, modern amenities.
This three-bedroom unit spans the entire left side of the home as a private duplex. On the main floor, a spacious living room and an inviting eat-in kitchen create the perfect setting for gathering and entertaining. Upstairs, all three bedrooms are centered around a full bath. Two bedrooms feature king beds, while the third is furnished with two twin beds, comfortably accommodating up to six guests..
On the main level, you’ll find a spacious eat-in country kitchen, a cozy foyer, a living room with a wood-burning fireplace and Amazon TV, and a convenient half bath just off the kitchen. Wood floors and rustic details throughout create a warm, inviting atmosphere. A full-size washer and dryer are located in the basement and are available for guest use upon request. Hickory may be rented as a connecting unit with Chestnut.

Chestnut seamlessly blends the vintage charm of Hudson River Valley estate living with modern comforts.
This two-bedroom unit occupies the entire right side of the Gate House, comfortably accommodating up to four guests. It features two bedrooms — one with a king bed and the other with two twin beds — along with a full-size futon in the loft (note: the loft is not a fully enclosed bedroom). Cathedral ceilings in the living room and kitchen create a bright, spacious, and airy atmosphere.
Chestnut: Two Bedroom Flat
With a charming living and dining area, Chestnut offers all the modern comforts you would expect — from a connected TV to a fully equipped kitchen. For larger groups, Chestnut can also be rented together with Hickory as a connecting unit.

Red Cabin: Duplex Private Home
Just steps from a running creek and a short walk to our beautiful private lake, the Red Cabin is a special hideaway. Nestled into a small hill, the upper level sits even with the great lawn featuring two king bedrooms. Downstairs, you’ll find a beautifully appointed kitchen, cozy living room, wood burning fireplace, dining table, and more. Truly a special place!

Just steps from our private lake, this charming two story building has two separate entrances for an upper and ground level unit (a traditional two family structure). Both units feature two bedrooms and one full bathroom, living area, and kitchen. The ground level unit features an expanded dining area with direct patio access. The units may be rented together for a connected two story home totaling four bedrooms and two full bathrooms.

The master bedroom features a spacious king bed, while the second bedroom is also furnished with a king bed. A Jack-and-Jill full bathroom includes a private entrance from the master bedroom for added convenience.
